ASG was formed in 1998 by Barkley Spikes, with Mark Schultz joining shortly thereafter.
Both former Sales and F&I trainers for franchise auto dealerships, Barkley and Mark remember the days when credit
union members were loyal to a fault and refused to finance at the dealership.
Keenly aware of the financial pitfalls often associated with dealership financing, this member loyalty had
a profound effect and compelled Barkley and Mark to join the good side of the auto lending industry by
helping credit unions empower and protect their members in relation to purchasing and financing an
ASG has since built a training and consulting team comprised entirely of experienced credit union and
automobile lending professionals.
